Lifestyle Newborn Session Near Seattle, WA | Older Sibling Expections
The absolute sweetest little duo at my newborn session a few weeks ago near Kirkland WA.
Quick note about older sibs at newborn sessions: they are likely to act a little different. Maybe more bouncy, maybe more silly, maybe more shy. That is totally normal and ok. That’s MY expectation. I don’t assume to meet an older sibling who acts like everything is normal when they have 1. A new sibling 2. A new routine 3. A lady they don’t know in the house lol!
A lot of parents say “well this was very different than our first baby’s session” but it’s so normal for it to feel perhaps like a whirlwind, tornado of emotions come through at the session (times have changed, one kid is now two, it’s parents first time through it too ❤️)
But I’m just delighted to be there- no matter what is happening. No matter how many snack breaks, tears, hiding, running, showing of toys, yelling of long stories or outright tantrums are going on. No matter if I meet an older sibling on their silliest day or their moodiest.
