Seattle Adventure Family Photographer

Well. This was definitely one of my favorite sessions of last year as a Seattle Adventure Family Photographer. It was with one of my favorite humans and her very sweet boys and husband. I took them to one of the best parts of the Olympic National Park but made them hike way further out than I usually make families walk. Natalie was in heels, BUT she only got one blister. Eeek! (I will bring bandaids!) If another family is up for hiking next year, I will have them bring extra shoes!

The hills are alive with..deer!

One of the best parts of shooting in these hills is all the wildlife we get to see! Almost always, there is a deer here or there and a couple times we have seen a marmot. Marmots are about the size of a cat and they like to SCREAM! They are highly entertaining.

Mountain sunsets

This day, we had one of the best sunsets I have seen up on these trails. When you opt for the longer hike- you are able to crest over the top of the hill and see a whole new view on the other side. So pretty AND worth the trek. Also, since most people opt for a much shorter hike- there are hardly any people farther out. Also worth it.

It often happens that I love the first picture I take or the last picture I take. I mean… all that stuff in the middle I love to. But there is something about the first and last. Look at this little adventurer!

A note on these sessions, July & August are full for adventure sessions. I *MAY* open a few more spots later but I am not sure what time I will have available. I have not opened the adventure calendar for Fall. Keep an eye on my instagram account for openings and details.
