Every year, I look for ways I can give back with my photography. This year I took on two projects. The first was donating to the Wilkes Elementary Auction. The second was that I donated my time to the Kitsap Humane Society by photographing over 80 pets meeting Santa! That last one was about as wild as it sounds! We even had a tarantula come by!
Back to the Wilkes auction, I attended the auction and I was tricky for me not to peek and see who won the session I was giving away but luckily for me, one of my friends won! She has three lovely boys, one of whom is my daughter’s friend. They were open to location so I chose my favorite Bainbridge Island location.
This location is tricky because it becomes unusable when the tide is in and this fall the tide seemed to be always in early evening, right when I like to shoot. But we found a good weather day AND a good tide day.
Could not decide which I liked better here, color or black & white!
I am excited to see who wins Wilkes Elementary Auction family session this year!
